The nature of the project meant the client couldn’t drill into anything and there was also nothing to clamp onto.
Generation Widnes knew the best equipment for the job was the Rapid Post and Panel. The Rapid Post is a unique telescopic post that offers single, extended and full containment edge protection which does not require any fittings; ensuring there would be no damage to the concrete and docking bays. This innovative product is proven to be up to 10 times faster than existing drill & fix systems.
The Rapid Post and Panel allowed the client to have all 54 doors open with the assurance that the work environment remained safe and secure whilst having sufficient flow of air. The installation process was made easy and simple by Generation providing full installation training following the delivery of the equipment. As the equipment required very few components meaning the installation time was vastly reduced.
The client was extremely happy with the application and the ease of the installation during their 42 weeks hire period, that the system is now being rolled out across the UK as the preferred application on all distribution units projects as well as gaining interest on concrete frame apartment builds.
