Welsh Highway Expansion Continues

Welsh Highway Expansion Continues

Project

Project

Our Cardiff Docks Branch supplied safety equipment to Future Valleys Construction and its partners for the A465 Sections 5&6 MIM highway expansion project. We supplied 1.5 km of site fencing, equivalent to the length of 15 football pitches, to secure construction zones and clearly separate work areas from public spaces. Additionally, we provided 4 km of RB22 Crash Rated Traffic Barriers, stretching the distance of a marathon run, to protect workers and redirect traffic around construction zones. For worker safety during bridge construction and other elevated work, we supplied 2 km of Combisafe Edge Protection Systems, covering a distance equal to 20 times the height of the Eiffel Tower.

Throughout the project, we collaborated closely with Future Valleys Construction and its partners.

The A465 Sections 5&6 MIM Project involves upgrading 18km of the A465 highway between the towns of Dowlais Top, Merthyr Tydfil and Hirwaun. This project aims to improve regional connections and boost South Wales' economy. Our equipment has easily adapted to different project needs, from early groundworks to bridge building stages.

We'll continue to provide robust site fencing and barriers throughout the construction timeline.
